February's Rudy Day
So, here we have the second Rudolph day of the year! If you are new to the whole Rudy day experience, it's basically a mini christmas celebration where we take stock of what we have already done in preparation for next christmas and what we have to do. Pop on a christmas film or some music, ignore the howls from the family and enjoy organising a part of christmas now.

Why Start Organising Now?
I have never bought into the mainstream view of Christmas that people seem to complain about. I have no desire to be running round like a headless chicken in the last few weeks running up to Christmas trying to find everything I need and fighting some old dear for the last turkey crown, anymore than the next person.

New 'Beat the Crunch' Forum
OCE's aim has always been to help you celebrate the festive season not stress over it.

Here at OCE we try not to focus on the materialistic side of the festive season that has become so prevalent over the years. Johnny will still want the playstation, and Chloe still wants a nintendo, but we will not be taking huge bank loans or pawning granny's best jewellry in order to achieve it.

In light of the worlds economic climate we have opened a new forum called Beat The Crunch.

Here we will share our own little tips on how we spread the financial load of the festive season. Ideas on how to give gifts that don't cost the earth or break the bank, and ensure we still have a fantastic celebration...whatever your budget.

We hope to help you make Christmas 2009 the light in the gloom of the recession and share a bit of our festive spirit with you....all year round!

Rudolph Day - An excuse every month to celebrate Christmas!
Rudolph Day, to us here at OCE, is one day every month where we spread the load of Christmas whilst at the same time having a mini celebration of it.

On the 25th of each month throughout the year we get a chance to take stock of what we have already achieved towards next christmas and what we plan to do.

New Site!
This site is here because in January 1998 a lady who goes by the name of CEO started with a simple idea of sharing with the world wide web, ideas and tips on home organisation and management.
Ten years on, her private web site had grown into four sites each specialising in their own area and message board communities with members numbering into their thousands.

In September 2007, CEO announced that she would be closing the forums in order to devote more time to her family, and whilst the information she had shared over those ten years was and is still available, there was a large hole developing where the communities would have been.

Various members of those sites have gone on and set up forums, blogs and sites of their own, inspired by the wonderful work of CEO and the supportive, creative and informative communities that thrived under her care.

Organisedchristmaselves.co.uk is just one of those sites. Set up by the UK members of the community at organizedchristmas.com continuing the work started by CEO
