Has anyone attempted to make 'pots of gold'? I have heard it described over on the special occasion board of MSE but im not sure how well they would go down? xx :huh:

MSE is moneysavingexpert.com !

I did make the pots of gold, very easy to do and I thought they looked pretty good. They seemed to go down quite well

They do look quite good. :D I looked on ebay for the cellophane and got some with gold spirals on for just a few pounds. I think it's a 10m roll too so i've loads left too. I got the bows and ribbon from Poundland. They were really easy to do too.

I may try them out for my SIL. Its her birthday in February. I may go for a different colour or something? Wee pot o pink or something.
